Crisp County was prepared for the storm, as they blew out the Rutland Hurricanes 49-14. The Cougars' offense was rolling from the very beginning. On their first offensive possession Crisp County's D.J. Smith took a pitch 90 yards to the house to give the Cougars a 7-0 lead, and they didn't slow down after that.
After one quarter, they led 20-0, as running back Jammie Robinson and wide receiver Quay Walker each scored a touchdown. In the second quarter, Crisp County's back-up quarterback, Myles Napier joined in on the scoring barrage as he rushed for a 1 yard touchdown, and threw a touchdown pass to wide receiver TJ Ming.
At half time, Crisp County led 35-0, and would score two more touchdowns in the 3rd quarter. Crisp County now improves to 4-0 on the year while the Hurricanes are now 1-3.
