UGA's Chubb named SEC Player of the Week

The University of Georgia's Nick Chubb was named the SEC's Offensive Player of the Week, according to the SEC's website.

The running back racked up 222 on 32 carries and two touchdowns Saturday in the #18 Dawg's season opener against #22 North Carolina. UGA won 33-24.

The game was Chubb's return from a season-ending knee injury on Oct. 10, 2015.

Chubb leads the SEC and is second nationally in yards rushing. His performance Saturday was highlighted by a 55-yard touchdown run for Georgia's final score that put the game out of reach in the fourth quarter.
