Where will 13WMAZ be for Week 11 of Football Friday Night?

GISA football playoffs start Friday night

CENTRAL GEORGIA - Week 10 saw plenty of big time high school football matchups, with Northside taking down Coffee 17-14, Tattnall keeping their perfect season alive with their 38-29 win over FPD and Macon Co. blowing out Hawkinsville, 55-8.

And now it's rivalry week in the GHSA and the first week of the playoffs in the GISA and our Football Friday Night team cannot wait to get out onto gridirons around central Georgia to check out some of the best football this region of the country has to offer.

This week, we will start Friday night live at Freedom Field in Warner Robins, for #Tailgate13, which airs on Eyewitness News at 5 and 6 p.m. on 13WMAZ. At 7:30 p.m., the Houston County Bears will play host to the Northside Eagles in a big AAAAAA Region 1 matchup.

Once #Tailgate13 ends, the FFN team will hit the roads to check out some great high school football games. Here's where you will be able to find our reporters:

  • Northside at Houston Co., 7:30 p.m.
  • Tiftarea at John Milledge
  • Washington Co. at Northeast
  • Tattnall Square at Stratford
  • Central at Westside
  • Twiggs Co. at Wilkinson Co.
  • Perry at Mary Persons
  • Bleckley Co. at Dodge Co.
  • First Presbyterian Christian at Windsor
  • FPD at Mt. De Sales

And, of course, we will keep our eyes on the rest of central Georgia's teams hitting the field on Friday night.

You can catch the highlights of all 10 games the FFN team attends on Football Friday Night at 11:35 p.m. on 13WMAZ! Frank Malloy, Ben Jones, Marvin James and Jonathan Perez will take you through the games and add in some scores on the Zaxby's Football Friday Night scoreboards, introduce you to the Chevrolet Fan of the Week, give the Jeff Smith Ford Quiz Question and Answer, the Central Georgia Technical College Play of the Day and the McDonald's Ribrocker, along with finding out who won the week and if Lorra's lead over Ben has grown in the Jones Zone!

Keep that television tuned to 13WMAZ after Eyewitness News at 11 to check out how your favorite team fared on the field this week!
