Where will 13WMAZ be for Week 8 of Football Friday Night?

Week 7: FPD vs. Twiggs

CENTRAL GEORGIA - Last week was another fantastic week on gridirons at high schools around central Georgia, as we had Stratford taking down Mt. De Sales 41-14, Mary Persons pulling out a close one against Spalding ,17-14, Northside making a statement against Macon Co., 45-6, and Twiggs Co. getting the upset win against FPD, 29-17, among other games. 

Up here at the 13WMAZ station, we are raring to jump into our cars and hit the roads for another week of high school football action! 

We will be starting out the evening in Milledgeville, where we will be live at John Milledge Academy for #Tailgate13, which will air on Eyewitness News at 5 and 6 p.m. on 13WMAZ. The Trojans will then play host to their rival, the GMC Bulldogs, at 7:30 p.m.  

Once we wrap up with this week's edition of #Tailgate13, the FFN team will grab their keys and hit the road to catch some of central Georgia's best football. Here's where you will be able to see our reporters:

  • Mt. De Sales at Tattnall Square

We will also be keeping an eye on the rest of the central Georgia teams taking the field on Friday night. 

You can catch the highlights of all 10 games the FFN team attend on Football Friday Night at 11:35 p.m. on 13WMAZ! Frank Malloy, Ben Jones, Marvin James and Jonathan Perez will take you through the games and add in some scores on the Zaxby's Football Friday Night scoreboards, introduce you to the Chevrolet Fan of the Week, give the Jeff Smith Ford Quiz Question and Answer, the Central Georgia Technical College Play of the Day and the McDonald's Ribrocker, along with finding out who won the week and has the season lead in the Jones Zone!
