Washington, DC (Sports Network) - The Washington Mystics re-signed All-Star
forward Crystal Langhorne on Thursday.
Langhorne led the team with 18.2 points and 7.6 rebounds per game last season.
The Maryland product also ranked in the top five in the league in points per
game (4th), rebounds (6th) and field goal percentage (3rd) en route to her
second straight All-Star appearance.
"I am excited to continue my career with the Mystics and to play in front of
the best fans in the WNBA," said Langhorne. "I will continue to work my
hardest to help bring a championship to D.C."
Originally selected in the first round of the 2008 draft, Langhorne has
averaged 12.7 points and 7.3 rebounds in 133 games (93 starts) for Washington.
She was named the WNBA's most improved player in 2009.
