An online vote could bring $1 million to the Macon area to help Central Georgia's hungry.
Wal-mart is running the Facebook campaign as part of its Fighting Hunger Together initiative.
They are highlighting 200 communities where unemployment rates are high, and the Macon metro area is one of them.
The company will award $1 million to an anti-hunger agency in the community that gets the most votes. If Macon is the top vote-getter, that would be the Middle Georgia Community Food Bank.
To vote, you must download the company's Facebook app.
