Two accidents caused traffic issues in Macon and Bibb County during Friday rush hour traffic.

In Macon, a trailer carrying junk cars lost a car at the intersection of Broadway and Eisenhower Parkway.

No one was injured in that accident.

Bibb deputies responded to an accident involving two tractor-trailers at the intersection of Avondale Mill Road and Highway 247.

BSO spokesman Sean DeFoe said no one was injured in the accident, but called it "a mess."

Witnesses told 13WMAZ that a truck heading southbound was unable to stop as the light turned red.Another semi truck was attempting a left-hand turn from Avondale Mill Road onto Highway 247 northbound.

The first truck smashed into the second and then slid into 2 other cars waiting at the light on the northbound side of Hwy 247.

No one was injured in that accident.
