ATLANTA -- Game time isn't until 7:35 p.m. Friday, but Braves fans will want to arrive early for the team's tribute to Chipper Jones.

The first 45,000 fans through the gates will receive a commemorative Chipper Jones print.

Everyone is encouraged to be seated no later than 6:55 p.m. for a special pre-game ceremony at 7 p.m.

Getting to seats could take a little longer than usual for anyone who forgets to pre-pay for parking. Turner Field's official lots will only accept permits Friday night.

Here are some more tips from the Braves:

  • Fans must pre-purchase parking as official Braves parking lots will be PERMIT ONLY. Parking lots will open at 3 p.m. Turner Field gates will open at 5 p.m.
  • Official parking lots for Turner Field are at capacity for Friday's game. Fans that haven't pre-purchased parking are strongly encouraged to take MARTA. The MARTA Braves shuttle begins its run 90 minutes prior to first pitch from the Underground Atlanta/Five Points MARTA station to Turner Field until one hour after the final out. For those fans who may want to arrive at the ballpark before the MARTA Braves shuttle begins its game operation MARTA recommends catching any one of three other available bus routes - the #32, the # 49 or the # 55. All three bus lines may be caught at the Five Points MARTA station and all three routes stop at points adjacent (i.e. Hank Aaron Drive, Pollard Blvd) to Turner Field.
