FORT VALLEY, Ga.-- (School Release) For the third time this season, Fort Valley State University's punter and placekicker Justin Rosenbaum has been selected as the SIAC Special Teams Player of the Week. He was tagged with honor after his performance in Saturday's games (October 6, 2012) against the Thorobreds of Kentucky State University (KSU).

The 6'2, 185lb senior was outstanding in the 36-6 win. The Owosso, MI native scored nine of the team's 36 points with field goals of 52, 28, and 30 yards. The 52 yard effort was just shy of his conference field goal record of 57 yards set last year against Clark Atlanta. He was also just three yards shy of smashing the school's single game per punt average of 55 yards. On five punts, Rosenbaum averaged 52.6 yards per punt. His longest was 58 yards and he landed four of the five punts inside the KSU 20-yard line.

Rosenbaum was previously named SIAC Special Teams Player of the Week for the weeks of September 15th and September 22nd. Rosenbaum and the Wildcats are back in action on Saturday, October 13th at 2 p.m. when they host the Hornets of Concordia College on homecoming day at Wildcat Stadium.
