Courtney Kelly, one of the four people accused of killing 58-year-old Gail Spencer, waived her commitment hearing on Wednesday, according to Suzanne Short with the Magistrate Court.
Kelly originally asked for this hearing because she didn't understand the charges against her.
Short declined to provide the reason why Kelly waived her hearing.
She, along with Tracy Jones, Michael Kelly, and Keith Anthony Dozier, are being charged with the murder of Gail Spencer. All four were denied bond due to the nature of the charges.
A GBI medical examiner determined that Spencer died from asphyxiation. Spencer's body was found in her home early Saturday, October 6, after her neighbor called police.
