MACON, Ga. - Mercer junior Langston Hall added another award to his impressive collegiate resume on Tuesday, picking up Atlantic Sun Player of the Week honors in an announcement made by the conference office.
Hall's award marks his first league Player of the Week honor and second A-Sun weekly honor after picking up the conference the Newcomer of the Week recognition on February 21, 2011.
Hall was chosen by the conference Sports Information Directors as the Player of the Week after leading the team with 19 points in the Bears' 63-53 road win at Chattanooga on December 16. Against the Mocs, Hall was five-of-nine from three-point range while collecting five rebounds, four assists, two steals and a block.
After missing the first five games of the season with an injury, Hall has returned to start Mercer's last seven games. In those contests, Hall is averaging 8.7 points, 3.7 assists and 2.1 rebounds per game.
Mercer wraps up its three-game road stretch with the final non-conference game of the regular season against Alabama on December 22. Game time in Tuscaloosa is scheduled for 2 p.m.
