Northridge, CA (Sports Network) - Dylan Royer and Chris Eversley each scored 23 points to lead the Cal Poly Mustangs past the Cal State Northridge Matadors, 81-61, in a Big West Conference affair at the Matadome.

No other player was in double figures for Cal Poly (14-12, 9-6 Big West) which put an end to a four-game losing streak with the win.

Josh Greene had 19 points, Stephan Hicks added 16 and Tre Hale-Edmerson brought in 11 rebounds for Cal State Northridge (13-16, 4-12) which has lost five straight.

Cal Poly shot 56 percent from the field and knocked in 6-of-8 from beyond the arc to take a 38-22 lead into the break. Cal State Northridge managed just seven field goals on 28 percent shooting in the first 20 minutes.

The Mustangs were impressive once again in the second half, shooting 60 percent from the field and 6-of-7 from 3-point range to cruise to the victory.

Cal Poly forced 15 turnovers which it traded in for 21 points. The Matadors had the edge in rebounds (35-22).
