BRUNSWICK, Ga. (WTLV) -- Two teens accused in the shooting death of a Brunswick toddler are expected to appear before a judge Monday morning.

DeMarquise Elkins, 17, will appear before a judge at the Glynn County Courthouse Monday at 2 p.m.

Elkins was arrested a day after the March 21 shooting that devastated the parents of 13-month-old Antonio Santiago, Sherry West and Louis Santiago.

A 14-year-old whose name has not been released, appeared before a judge Monday morning at 9:30 a.m.

The teen is currently being held for felony murder, but has not been officially charged with a crime at this time. Authorities have 30 days to file official charges against the teen for his potential involvement in the shooting death of Antonio Santiago.

West, the infant's mother, described the shooting death of her infant son as a robbery gone wrong. West claims the teens demanded money before pulling out a gun and shooting her and her baby, Antonio.
