Gunfire hit three people in southwest Macon last night, including one man who was shot in the head and torso, according to a police news release.

This happened at 2315 Adams Ave., off Anthony Road near Ballard Hudson Middle School.

One victim had gunshot woulds on the sides of his abdomen and another victim drove himself to the hospital before police arrived.

The man who was shot in the head and torso was unresponsive when police arrived. He was taken to the Medical Center of Central Georgia, along with the man who was shot in the abdomen.

13WMAZ previously reported shots were fired around 8 p.m. Tuesday, but an officer at the home could not reveal how serious the injuries were.

At the time, a Macon police dispatcher could only confirm that at least one person had been shot.

This shooting is currently under investigation and anyone with relevant information is urged to call Crimestoppers at 1-877-68-CRIME.
