Bibb District Attorney David Cooke will not seek the death penalty for a Peach County woman accused of killing her cousin and aunt in 2009.

Lillian Walker is charged in the deaths of 85-year-old Lillian Graves and 65-year-old Agnes Steward.

She allegedly stabbed the mother and daughter to death in their Peach County home. Police say she then stole her aunt's Jeep Cherokee and went through the women's purses to take cash, credit cards, and prescription drugs.

Prosecutors have decided not to enter into a death penalty case, and they say requests of family members, hoping for a speedy trail, factoring into the decision.
