It was essentially a day off Friday at Fasteners Plus Supply Company on MLK Blvd. in downtown Macon.

That's because they're smack in the middle of the section of MLK closed for filming high speed chase scenes for the new movie 'Need for Speed.'

While the scenes are closed to the public, business owners can stay and watch. But people are watched by Hollywood producers who control who goes in and out, and make sure no one crashes a scene.

Friday, some of the owners gave 13WMAZ's Tom George a look of some their best spots for catching a glimpse of the movie-making action.
