Mount de Sales seniors graduate later thisMay andWednesdaya Cavalier athlete finalized his college plans.

Ryan McCallie signed a scholarship to play at Berry College in Rome. McCallie was a two year starter at quarterback for Robert Slocum's Cavs. He also made his presence felt in the defensive backfield. He talked with 13WMAZ's Wes Blankenship about the main reason behind his success on the field.

"Without my team I really wouldn't be anywhere," says McCallie. "Especially with my line. I've been with them since the 3rd Grade and we've been playing every single year together and they really have my back so I think it's the team." Head coach Robert Slocum, "Ryan spent a lot of time improving as a quarterback. He worked on his passing and he worked on his option skills and made himself a better football player."

McCallie and his Berry teammates play Mercer in Macon on September 21.
