Lt. Sean DeFoe of the Bibb County Sheriff's Department says several trees were down near the intersection of Houston Road and Jones Road in south Bibb County.

One of them apparently destroyed a mobile home on Houston Road. The two brothers who lived there told 13WMAZ, both were inside when the 100-year-old pecan tree crashed through their roof.

13WMAZ also saw less severe damage in other parts of South Bibb, included a tree toppled into a yard on Liberty Church Road.

In Milledgeville, power outages on Irwinton Road sent crews out in the storm to direct traffic.

For some time, tree branches blocked the right lane on I-75 North near Exit 142 in Peach County, Ga.

None of the authorities 13WMAZ spoke to Friday night reported any injuries.
