After some concerns that rain might put a damper on plans for fireworks at Lake Tobesofkee, the show went on as planned.
In fact, there wasn't any rain at all, as boaters and beach-goers enjoyed some time on the water before the fireworks show started at 9:30.
Some said rain or shine, it was a tradition they wouldn't miss.
"We've been coming every year since it's been going on," says Eugene Brower who came from Centerville to Claystone Park in Bibb County.
Moseley Dixon Road was packed with cars full of hundreds of people going to watch the show for Fourth of July.
