The summer is officially over now in Monroe County.

Students arrived early at K.B. Sutton Elementary for the first day of school.

There were mostly smiles as parents dropped off kids around 8 a.m.

But for some, seeing their children grow up gets a little harder each year.

"He's been coming to this school for four years now, and it's not as hard as it was four years ago starting Pre-K, but it's still a little hard," says parent Matthew White.
