Bibb County campus police are investigating a bomb threat at Northeast High School Friday.
It happened just after 12 p.m. Friday.
Head of Bibb Schools Security David Gowan says the Elam Alexander Program, which uses a building on Northeast's campus, was the target of the threat.
Gowan says the school followed the emergency plan for bomb threats and put all 3 campus buildings on lockdown.
Campus police are investigating the incident. As of 2 p.m., the school was back to its normal routine.
Gowan says school leaders will send a letter explaining the situation home to parents.
