Allegash,Great Divide, Founders - those are just some of the craft beers you'll find at the third annual Macon Beer Fest on Saturday.

Starting from 3 p.m., a thousand ticketholders will sample thirty different beers at venues downtown.

Main Street Macon and the Downtown Macon Rotary are partnering to raise money for Pints for Prostates.

That's an organization educating families about prostate cancer.

Steve Bell, an organizer of the festival, says it's a fun way to raise awareness about an important cause.

The American Cancer Society estimates 1 in 6 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in his lifetime.

"We want to let men know this is important. This is not an old man's disease either," says Bell. "I was 42 when I had it, and there are men as early in their 30s that are being diagnosed."

Tickets can be purchased for $20 online at Any remaining tickets can be picked up for $25 at Third Street Park on Saturday starting at 2.
