Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - Jon Lester tossed scoreless ball into the eighth and the Boston offense kicked into gear early on, in a 4-2 decision over Los Angeles in the second test in this three-game interleague set.

Lester (12-7) walked four, but surrendered just three hits and fanned six over 7 1/3 innings. Koji Uehara recorded the final four outs to earn his 13th save,

Mike Napoli drove in a run with a single and Jonny Gomes clubbed a three-run shot in the first inning for the Red Sox, who recovered from a 2-0 loss in Friday's series opener.

Adrian Gonzalez collected a two-run double for the Dodgers, who saw their four-game win streak come to an end.

Hyun-Jin Ryu (12-5) was pulled after five full frames, having surrendered five hits and four runs with seven strikeouts.
