For nine days police in Gordonhave been searching for a missing manand they need the community's help.

Susan Pearson withGordon police told 13WMAZ that 48-year-old Cornelius Hall has been missing from an assisted living facility since Monday, Sept. 16.

"He signed himself out ofFalcon Crest on EppsStreet, off MilledgevilleHighway,Monday morning at 9:30 and no one has seen him since," Pearson said.

"Hall is diabetic and a very sick man that needs his insulin."

Pearson describes him as a black man, 5' 7", weighing about 132 pounds. He is blind in his right eye.

Police say they have been searching nearby woods and the surrounding area.

Based on a conversation withdispatch, no family members have reported seeingHall.
