Mercer will get their final tune-up before conference play this Saturday as they take on Carnegie Mellon on their home turf.

Head Coach Bobby Lamb told his squad Thursday not to be complacent and to keep in mind that the Bears have to take care of their business. The visitors come in as Division Three opponents with a 3-3 record.

Mercer has dominated teams in the Den with only one loss this season on the road.

Lamb says even though it seems like a ho-hum opponent, this matchup is critical to the Bears' program.

"They are a well-established Division Three school, and one that we have to be wary of," Lamb said. "They've got a wing-t offense, and we haven't seen that since Reinhardt."

Kickoff is 1 p.m. Saturday.

Mercer athletics says they still have seats available in the stands and on the berm.
