Warner Robins, GA- The Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) Titans earned the first win of their season Saturday, November 2, with a dominating 89-71 victory over Faith Baptist. Former Bleckley County standout Brentine Taylor led all scorers with a game high 32 points, while Cameron Baker (18 points) and Justyn Olsen (11 points) both added double digit scoring in a game where the Titans never trailed. Second year men's basketball coach Reco Dawson felt his defense gave up too many points, but credited strong performances by several newcomers for the victory.

"I felt at home," Titans forward Brentine Taylor said. "I'm glad the fans came out and supported us for the home opener. This year will be fun for our team." Taylor also led the team in rebounds (14) and blocked shots (2).

The Titans next home game will be on November 8th at 7:00 PM on the CGTC campus in Warner Robins (80 Cohen Walker Dr.)
