MACON -Monday night, was a double edition of the Macon Touchdown Club, because last week they took the week off.

They returned with 6 players to honor for their stellar performances on Football Friday Nights.

For the week of October 25th, the back of the week is Tyree White. Tyree is the quarterback for Southwest High School. The junior QB rushed for 280 yards and 3 touchdowns and had more than a 50% completeion rate for 149 yards and a TD pass in his team's 42-32 loss to Henry County.

The lineman of the week was FPD's Regan Greene. The senior defensive tackle registered 15 tackles, 3 tackles for a loss and had 2 QB sacks in the Vikings 41-40 win over Wilkinson Co.

The Special teams player of the week award goes to Stratford's Douglas Bradley. The senior long snapper blocked an extra point to keep Tattnall from tying the game, then recovered an onsides kick to preserve his team's 14-13 win over the Trojans.

Now for this weeks winners for November 1st.A repeat offender, Rutland's Montez Cheney carried the ball 30 times for 257 yards and 4 TD's, a kick off return for 41 yards and 2 punt returns for 55 yards in the Canes 48-31 win over Perry.

The Big Ugly of the week is Westside's Devantae Smith recorded 14 tackles and 1 tackle for a loss as a linebacker while his Noles defeated Howard 34-7.

And this weeks Special Teams Player of the Week belongs to sophomore Jarodney Sanders from Northeast High.Jarodney nailed all 4 PAT's in his team's 30-7 win over Putnam County, Friday night.

The guest speaker of the night is no stranger to the Club, Georgia Tech head coach Paul Johnson. Johnson returns to the club during the Jackets bye week fresh off a 3 game winning streak for the Rambling Wreck. The coach affectionately known as PJ, has been very successful at stops with Georgia Southern in the late 90's as well as the Naval Academy, continues to impress in the ACC with his unique style of triple option offense. We spoke to the ol ball coach about what's the climate like with the team these days.
