Judy Le joined the 13WMAZ news team in February 2012 as a Multimedia Journalist.
Before moving to Central Georgia, she freelanced in New York as a reporter/producer/editor for online, print and broadcast. Some of her work can be found on NYDailyNews.com, Huffington Post, Brooklyn Independent TV, Patch, and City Limits. She was also an anchor for 219 West, a TV news magazine show that aired on cable.
Judy earned a B.A in Communication Studies and Psychology at Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas. She interned at KXAN and News 8, both in Austin, Texas. Later she interned at NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams and the ABC News team in DC. That's when she fell in love with the East Coast.
Judy was born in California, raised as a Texan and has a spirit of a New Yorker. After graduation, she flew back to the Big Apple to get her M.A. in Journalism with a concentration in Broadcast and Urban Studies at the City University of New York Graduate School of Journalism.
She then left the big city for a smaller one when she joined 13WMAZ. Her goal is to tell stories that matter.
Judy is also a big foodie who always perks up at the first sign of food and has a huge soft spot for big dogs.
