AUGUSTA, Ga. (AP) - A fire has damaged six apartments and a dental business in Augusta.

Firefighters said they found one man trying to escape the blaze from a third-floor window when they responded Friday morning. The Augusta Chronicle ( ) reports that the man was rescued unharmed.

The president of the partnership that owns the building, Michael Osbon, said it does not appear any other tenants were in the building at the time of the blaze. He said he was grateful that no one was hurt.
