People in metro Atlanta blame Gov. Nathan Deal, Mayor Kasim Reed and others for the traffic nightmare resulting from this week's storm.

But nearly one out of three thinks Deal is most responsible for the "snowjam" traffic gridlock.

Those are some of the results from an exclusive Survey USA poll,conducted for 11Alive in Atlanta.

On Thursday, SurveyUSA interviewed 925 in Fulton, Gwinnett, Cobb, Clayton and DeKalb counties. About 70 percent lived outside the city.

Some of the findings:

People gave poor marks to both the governor and mayor.

The poll says 28 percent approved of Reed's handling of the storm, and 66 percent disapproved.

Deal got similar ratings: 28 percent approved of his work on the storm; 66 percent disapproved.

But when pollsters asked who was most to blame, 32 percent said Deal.

Another 22 percent blamed the superintendents of the various school districts across the region. Reed got 11 percent of the blame and the media, other city mayors and county executives each received less than 10 percent of the blame in the survey.
