A Crawford County school employee facing a dozen charges, including child molestation, will face additional charges.
The Crawford County Sheriff's Office said Friday that Carlteze James Saffold, 28, will face five additional charges of child molestation.
Saffold, a para-professional at Crawford County Middle School, was originally charged in October with four counts of sexual exploitation of children, four counts of enticing a child for indecent purposes, and four counts of molestation.
Crawford County Sheriff Lewis Walker on Friday told 13WMAZ that the additional charges stem from two more victims who have come forward since his initial arrest.
When he was first arrested, Jamie Jones, an agent in the GBI's Perry office, said Saffold's charges involve four different teenage students. He said Saffold apparently knew them through his position at the school, but they were investigating whether the case was connected to the school in any other way.
Saffold appeared before Superior Court Judge, Phillip Brown on Friday morning for a bond hearing and no bond was set, according to a news release from the sheriff's office.
Crawford County Superintendent John Douglas said in October that the alleged crimes did not occur on school property.
