Seventeen Harveys supermarket stores will be closing and reopening under new ownership by Bi-Lo Holdings.

According to a news release, the grocery stores will close Saturday, May 17th, for "minor renovations" related to the conversion, but they will remain Harveys when they reopen on May 23.

The Harveys locations that are being converted are in Fort Valley, Gray, Macon, Montezuma, Fitzgerald, Albany, Ocilla, Sylvester, Tifton, Dawson and Cordele.

During the business conversion, all pharmacies will operate on normal business hours.
