The weathermay have contributed to several traffic accidents acrossCentral Georgia Monday morning.

Law enforcement agencies were busy withcrashes, including an overturned tractor trailer truck at the Putnam-Jones County line. Traffic around the area on Hwy 129 was diverted and the driver of the truck had to be cut-out of his cab. He was taken to a Macon areahospital and his condition is not known.

Fallen trees were also a problem. One tree fell across Hwy 49 in Jones County atthe entrance to Mattie Wells Elementaryschool and Hampton Lake subdivision.

Crews with a chainsaw were called to clear that debris.
