For the second time in six weeks, Jones County deputies found a small house filled with marijuana plants.

This one was at 320 Morris Stevens Road, off Highway 49, in north Jones County.

On Friday afternoon, deputies found about more than 100 plants there. Sheriff Butch Reece says the marijuana inside was worth an estimated $60,000 to $70,000. They found more than 100 plants in the home and dozens more in a shed out back.

He said he believes it is connected to a Florida drug ring that was also responsible for a "grow house" found in April on Luke Smith Road.An estimated $90,000 to $100,000 worth of pot plants were found in a a double-wide trailer home there.

He said one person is already in custody in that case.

Sheriff Reece says the house on Morris Stevens Road was bought in November.

Reece also says he believes this grow house may be connected to others found around central Georgia.

One of them was reportedly the largest drug bust in Houston County history. That one was found back in February.
