An east Bibb Walgreens was held up at gunpoint early Tuesday morning.

Deputies say a man walked into Walgreens on Gray Highway, holding a handgun and demanded money from the cashier around 3 a.m., according to a release.

He received cash and left the store.

No one was hurt.

The gunman is described as about 140 to 160 pounds and between 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-8.

He was wearing a grey hoodie jacket, with blue jeans and tennis shoes and a bandanna covering his face. He also donned gloves, according to the release.

He was noticed limping with his right leg as he ran.
