Wet roads contributed to an accident that blocked traffic on Eisenhower Parkway at Interstate 475 Monday.

According to the Bibb Sheriff's department, it happened just before noon. The driver of the truck, Randy Bell of Fayetteville, said a pickup truck passed him, then slammed on brakes, causing him to do the same.

Bell says he swerved off to the right., trying to turn onto the southbound ramp to avoid hitting cars sitting at the light.

But his 18 wheeler carrying containers of bleach turned over. A towing team had to come set the truck back upright.

A woman in Bell's truck went to the hospital, but no one was seriously injured. Bell is charged with following too close.
