Residents at the Cherry Tree Hill apartments say they've been shaken after they say Bibb County Deputy Kenneth Brown caused a scene in their neighborhood while allegedly soliciting a 14 year old pregnant girl for sex and pointing a gun in the face of a 19-year-old neighbor who tried to intervene.

Taynasha Jones says her brother, Kerwin Williams, tried to help the girl as Brown grabbed her. She says the deputy drew the attention of neighbors in her building and he appeared drunk and repeatedly dropped his gun on the ground, once stepping inside an apartment and dropping the gun in front of children.
Eventually, a neighbor called the sheriff's office who later arrested the officer.
"I'm just glad that he's locked up for the situation and that no one was harmed," says Jones. She says her brother and the girl are both staying with family because they were shaken up by the incident.
Brown, who was arrested Tuesday, faces charges of enticing a child for indecent purposes, child molestation, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and violation of oath of office. No bond has been set.
