Investigators in Houston County said the death of a man found Friday in a creek in Perry appears to be accidental.
Joshua Tucker, 25, was reported missing on Nov. 24 by his mother after he didn't show up at home for several days, according to a Perry police news release.
He was found in a creek just west off of 41 Circle.
During their investigation, police said they've determined that Tucker was last seen Nov. 18 on the bridge. His body was found by a Houston County Fire Department cadaver dog 1,000 feet from the bridge, the news release stated.
"It appears to be accidental," said Sgt. George Runyon of the Houston County Sheriff's Office.
Cause of death is pending toxicology, the news release stated. Tucker's body was sent to the GBI crime lab and it's determined that no foul play was involved, according to the news release.
