Some kids are enjoying a fun weekend of fishing at the Go Fish Education Center, and they have a special teacher.

Kids of all ages, and their parents have a chance to catch a variety of fish.

Santa Claus and his elves are on hand to help.

Organizers say they provide everything, including bait, and poles for participants.

They say all the fish that are caught must be released back into the pond.

Organizers say the event is a great way to bring families together for a fun activity.

"We don't get enough time to do that. So, the weekends are a great time to come fishing. Come here and reconnect with family," said Marketing Director Nancy McEver.

Waylon Rosting added, "There's a lot of fish out here, and you can catch one."

McEver says Santa will be at the Go Fish Education Center through Sunday, December 15 from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m.
