A man who broke away from a Centerville police officer Thursday morning and hid for more than three hours is back in custody.

According to a police news release, David Wesley Marshall was arrested early Thursday after breaking into Centerville elementary school.

He was initially taken to the Houston Medical Center for an evaluation, then taken back to Centerville Police Department for booking around 5 a.m.
