ATLANTA -- Going into the first round of Thursday's NBA Draft, the Atlanta Hawks had two selections.

However, when it was time to speak to the media about the players picked, Hawks' General Manager Danny Ferry could only speak about Dennis Schroeder, the team's first pick from Germany.

Ferry was unable to talk about Shane Larkin, the Hawks' second pick, since the former Miami Hurricane point guard was a part of a trade with the Dallas Mavericks that had yet to be processed by the league.

In return for Larkin, the Hawks will receive the No. 16 pick from Thursday's draft, Brazilian 7-foot-center Lucas Nogueira, Mike Muscala, the No. 44 pick, and Jared Cunningham from Dallas.

The other two players the Ferry and the Hawks selected Thursday night were Raul Neto and James Ennis, both of which were taken in the second round.

Schroeder, who is currently playing in Germany's top league, the Beko League, is averaging 11.9 points and 3.3 assists in 24.7 minutes with the New Yorker Phantoms Braunschweig through 31 games.

In 31 games with Asefa Estudiantes Madrid, Nogueira is averaging 5.4 points per game to go along with 3.3 rebounds per game.
