Redshirt freshman linebacker Davin Bellamy was arrested shortly after 5 a.m. Saturday. He was charged with driving under the influence, and speeding, according to a report from Dawgs247.com.
Athens-Clarke County police records show he was released at 6:22 this morning, after posting a $2,000 bond.
Georgia athletics policy requires a mandatory two-game suspension for the DUI.
Bellamy is the second Georgia player arrested this week. Jonathan Taylor was charged with aggravated assault, which is a felony. He was dismissed from the team last Tuesday.
