Bassmaster veteran Tom Hamlin says he keeps a secret weapon in his tackle box for crappie fishing.

"If the bite slows down, you want to pull out your niblets," he said.

Tom explained that plenty of tackle companies make the product and you simply put it at the end of your jig. He says they're made up of fish parts and excite the crappie to bite.

So if things slow down, go for the dots.
