Commerce City, CO (Sports Network) - The Colorado Rapids will be without Kosuke Kimura, Drew Moor and Caleb Folan after each sustained an injury in Sunday's 2-0 defeat to Sporting Kansas City.
All three players will miss the return leg of Colorado's home-and-home Eastern Conference Semifinal series on Wednesday, further depleting the ranks for head coach Gary Smith.
Kimura suffered a broken foot after a challenge from Sporting's Matt Besler midway through the first half which is expected to keep him out for around five weeks, while Moor will miss the next 2-4 weeks as he recovers from a shoulder injury.
Folan had to leave the match in the 17th minute after spraining both his ankle and knee in a tackle from Aurelien Collin, and the trio joins an already crowded injury list that includes Conor Casey (torn left Achilles tendon), Pablo Mastroeni (concussion), Anthony Wallace (right knee surgery) and Jamie Smith (torn right ACL).
The Rapids will also be without defender Tyrone Marshall for Wednesday's match because he will be serving a suspension.
