WHY: Bridge Beam Removal
WHEN: 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., Friday, February 17, weather permitting
WHERE: US 19/SR 3 northbound at the Potato Creek Bridge in Upson County
WHAT: The Georgia DOT has been notified by the contractor of a daily single lane closure on US 19/SR 3 northbound in order to remove bridge beams from the existing bridge. Delays are expected in the area.
This is a WORK ZONE and extreme caution is necessary. Motorists are advised to reduce speeds as they travel through this construction work zone. Drivers should be aware that personnel and equipment will be close to the roadways.
