Today will feature cloudy skies with periods of steady rain through the afternoon and evening. Later on a few storms may develop, mainly east of I-75. Some storms may be on the stronger side with gusty winds and frequent lightning. A brief spin-up tornado cannot be ruled out although it is very unlikely.
For Friday, clouds will stick around with a slight chance for some light rain and drizzle and much cooler temperatures with highs only in the low 60s. Sunshine and warmer weather returns during the weekend though with highs climbing back into the 70s.
