From the Vault: Central Georgians remember devastating Flood of ‘94

This special was produced by 13WMAZ days after the flood caused by Tropical Storm Alberto that devastated Macon and parts of central Georgia on July 6, 1994.

It was raining 23 years ago here in central Georgia and it seemed to never stop.

Rising waters raged through the streets taking anything in its path even claiming some lives.

We posted archive video Friday on Facebook of a special report that was produced by 13WMAZ days after the flood caused by Tropical Storm Alberto that devastated Macon and parts of central Georgia on July 6, 1994.
