Jacob Reynolds joined the 13WMAZ team in July of 2016 as a Multi-Skilled Journalist.

Jacob came to WMAZ after graduating from the S.I Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. He majored in Broadcast and Digital Journalism with minors in Political Science and Religion & the Media.

During his time in the northeast, Jacob worked at the student news station, CitrusTV, as an anchor and reporter. He was also the news director for the student-run radio station. During the summers, Jacob interned at KSDK NewsChannel 5 in St. Louis and WKMG in Orlando, Florida. He also had the opportunity to work with CNN in Hong Kong during the fall of 2014.

Jacob has a love and passion for news and spent most of his senior year reporting for a local radio station in Syracuse and the University’s first official morning television show.

Jacob was born and raised in Ocala, Florida. He loves cooking southern food and spending time with his dog. Fall is his favorite time of year because he can root for his Syracuse Orange and spend every Saturday watching college football. If you see Jacob around make sure you stop and say “hello!”
