MACON, Ga. — Mallory Morgan is a Digital Content Producer at 13WMAZ. She first joined the station in June 2022.
Mallory was born and raised in Guyton, and grew up in the Pooler/Savannah area.
She graduated from Mercer University with a Bachelor’s degree in Media Studies with minors in communications, film, and English. She won “Most Outstanding Senior” in both the categories of Communication and Media Studies.
In college, Mallory interned at WMUB and was the producer and writer for the local show “Toonin’,” worked as a member of the Mercer University Bearforce, and was a research assistant.
She was also a writer for The Mercer Cluster and won an award from the Georgia College Press Association, placing second in the state for “Best Review” of her article in the paper reviewing the film “Dune."
When she is not working, you can find Mallory painting, reading (most likely a Stephen King novel), exploring the Macon area, and listening to her record collection.
She loves anything vintage, and exploring the history and beauty in older artifacts and pop culture items.
