MACON, Ga. — TJ Anthony joined 13WMAZ as a Multi-Skilled Journalist in Jan. 2022.
TJ was born and raised in Atlanta, and graduated from The University of Georgia with a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication. He also earned and a certificate in entrepreneurship from the Terry School of Business at UGA.
During college, TJ hosted his own podcast with iHeart Radio and continues to enjoy podcasting as a hobby in his free time. TJ also worked with BET, and fell in love with journalism when he had the opportunity to interview Congressman John Lewis.
When TJ is not reporting, you can catch him cheering on every Georgia sports team, especially the Bulldogs and the Hawks! TJ cannot wait to get to know the Central Georgia community more and is falling in love with the area!
